Meet the Bubbly Bookworm

Aww yes. Hello everyone that’s me, The Bubbly Bookworm…

In reality, my name is Abigail Saathoff. I'm a junior at the University of Northern Iowa studying Strategic Public Relations and Digital Journalism with minors in Business Communication and Marketing. I love my classes and learning new things, but the only thing I love more than that is reading!

I originally created this blog as part of a class project, where we were tasked with creating a social media presence about something we are passionate about, I chose books!

 

This blog is meant to amplify the voices of female journalists, authors, publishers, and more, by making a conscious effort to review predominantly female written or published work.

 

Throughout my time writing on this blog; I've worked to ensure that content is creative and diverse, instead of just doing reviews. This means I will do movie vs. book comparisons, lists posts, and *sometimes* even share some of my own work.

 

Now you may be thinking.. What does Abigail like to read? The answer to that is a little bit of everything, I really enjoy Young Adult Fiction, Realistic Fiction, Historical Fiction, Mystery and the occasional Romance, but I'm always open to try something new. My current favorite books are; Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, and Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott.
